Some may know him as Tonex, but we here at LGBT Underground know him as the amazing singer/songwriter and all round entertainer B.Slade. In 2010, “Tonex” began using the stage name B.Slade in order to repackage himself.
Since then he has released several hundred songs on dozens of albums during his career, while producing several others for both gospel and secular artists. He has won six Stellar Awards, a GMA Award, and received 2 Grammy nominations. One for ‘Best Contemporary Soul Gospel Album’ for his 2004 gold project ‘Out The Box’ and another in 2009 for ‘Best Urban/Soul Alternative Performance’ for his single ‘Blend’, taken from his 2009 mainstream (albeit theoretically Gospel) album titled ‘Unspoken’.
Known more for his gospel recordings, his musical efforts have are known to be a smorgasbord of styles, including Pop, R&B, Jazz, Soul, Funk, Hip Hop, Rock, Latin, Electro, Punk and Trance. His primary influences include Stevie Wonder, Billy Joel, Prince, Michael Jackson, Walter Hawkins, David Bowie, and Janet Jackson.
His distinct sound and eclectic style of music led him to name his own genre per se, calling it ‘Nureau’
One thing is for sure, you can always rely on B.Slade to consistently put out quality music.
Most recently he has dropped a new visual called “ThanxAlotAlotAlot” featuring Lorie Moore, which shows more of his fun side.

Up and coming independent singer/songwriter Ariana Castelli has released her new music video for “Love is Love.” The video introduces Ariana’s first single, written by Ariana Castelli and remixed by DJ Paige.
The music video features NFL player Erik Coleman and his wife Sabrina, Grammy-nominated artist Sky Washington, actress Julia Burns, model Daria Mikhaylova and Leonit Shaashua.
Inspired by Ariana’s real-life struggles as a member of the LGBT community, the video re-imagines club music as an outlet for cultural diversification and liberation. The video includes an inter-racial couple overcoming parental criticism and several examples of young, powerful women displaying confidence in their sexual identity.
Directed/co-production by Kate Balandina – Kosmo Media.
Production by Ted Herod and Drue Pennella

Something a lil different Tickle Torture – “Your gonna Be My Baby”
Tickle Torture is the sex-pop soundtrack for a new generation of freaks. His first EP, “Spiritual Machete” (2012), felt like catching Justin Timberlake and Prince making out in a dumpster full of broken synthesizers. Equal parts electro-funk and sleaze, “Spectrophilia” has further expanded this sound, incorporating the influences of trashy disco, post-Yeezus experimental hip-hop production sensibilities, and 80’s synth drenched R&B classics to create a one-of-a-kind maximalist assault. Feeding on the sweaty energy left from the funk dynasty of his home base in Minneapolis, one man producer, composer, engineer Elliott Kozel created these tracks over the course of the past year. This do-everything-yourself aesthetic expands into every aspect of the project, from creating his own masks and costumes, to styling and producing many of his own music videos. His sexual, chaotic live shows are half-party, half-performance art, and include a full live band, a team of backup dancers, an arsenal of confetti cannons, strobe lights and video projections.
