With everything going on in the world, there’s no ignoring the pain that is being played out right on the televisions and internet circuits of the world. But this pain is a reality for so many African Americans in America.

There is a hatred that exists to destroy one group of people and treat us unfairly. The list of what makes people hate others is infinite. We need a change because black lives do matter.

From the moment Tone Jonez’ production was heard, writing was simultaneous. And many other emcees felt the same way, compelled to write about the tragedy of the world.
